Summary

The Edward Noyes Prize was founded on a donation to The Institution of Engineers, Australia, by Mrs. Edward Noyes for the purpose of perpetuating the memory of her late husband, a foundation member of the Institution. The prize was awarded annually for the best paper on any engineering subject by a Graduate or Student Member of The Institution. It was first awarded in 1924.

Papers submitted for the award were judged by the Papers and Publications Committee of the Council of the Institution.

The 'Prize year' was the same as the 'Institution year'.
