Abstract: The Council of The Institution has awarded the Edward Noyes Prize, 1934, for papers presented during 1934, to Mr. G. O. Thomas, MCE AMIEAust, for his paper entitled "The determination of the suitability of bituminous coatings for underground pipes". This paper was presented by Mr. Thomas, when a Junior, before the Melbourne Division of The Institution in October, 1934.
