Abstract

The Council of The Institution has decided that the 1954 Awards of the Edward Noyes Prize and the R. J. N. Franki Medal be made to Mr. K. E. Young, BE StudIEAust, for his paper entitled "Frictional investigations using photo-elastic methods", which was presented before a meeting of the Graduates and Students' Section of the Sydney Division of The Institution.
