Abstract

Prizes awarded during the session were:-
* The Peter Nicol Russell Memorial Medal to the late Mr. M. E.
Kernot, Melbourne Division;
* The Institution of Engineers Prize, to Mr. R. St. C. Pitt, Junior,
Sydney Division;
* The Warren Memorial Prize, to Mr. A. R. Moon, Associate
Member, Melbourne Division;
* The Edward Noyes Prize, to Mr. K. E. Blacket, Junior (now
Associate Member), Sydney Division.

Progress is being made in the establishment of the R. W. Chapman Medal, for a contribution to the science and art of Structural Engineering. The preparation of the dies for the striking of the Medal is now in hand.
