Summary
The Institution of Engineers' Prize was established on funds transferred to the Institution of Engineers, Australia by the Sydney University Engineering Society, a Foundation Society. It was awarded annually to a student in the P. N. Russell School of Engineering of the University of Sydney, of not less than three or more than four years' standing, for a thesis, essay, report or other suitable piece of work which is of such high quality as to deserve special recognition.
The prize consisted of a certificate and a cash premium, and was first awarded in 1925 for papers presented in 1924/25.
