The prize is awarded annually to a student in the P. N. Russell School of Engineering of the University of Sydney, for a thesis, essay, report or other suitable piece of work which is of such high quality as to deserve special recognition.

Abstract

This paper attempts to simplify the solution of problems involving transients in electrical networks by use of a graphical method. Apparatus is described which may be used for qualitative or quantitative analysis.
