Summary
The Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) Program was established in May 1990. The Program is supported by the Australian Commonwealth Government and brings together researchers from universities, the public sector and business. From their Web site, May 2002: "CRCs undertake collaborative research and education programs in the fields of natural sciences and engineering, with a strong focus on commercial and other applications."
