Summary
The Australian Cotton Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) took over the work of the CRC for Sustainable Cotton Production in July 1999. The CRC's areas of research expertise include the management of insect pests, weeds and diseases; diagnostics; and biodiversity and vegetation management. In 2003 the CRC received its third round of funding and became known as the Cotton Catchment Communities CRC.
