Summary
The Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Industrial Plant Biopolymers was established in April 1992. Research undertaken by the CRC included areas such as plant cell culture techniques, genetic engineering and seaweed taxonomy and compositional analyses. In July 1999 the CRC was replaced by the CRC for Bioproducts.
