Summary
Established in July 2002, the Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Legumes in Mediterranean Agriculture conducted research in areas such as germplasm evolution, plant biochemistry and crop physiology and agronomy. In 2000 the CRC for Legumes in Mediterranean Agriculture ceased to operate as part of the Cooperative Research Centres Program. It became the Centre for Legumes in Mediterranean Agriculture at the University of Western Australia, using the resources of Agriculture Western Australia, The University of Western Australia, CSIRO and Murdoch University.
