Summary
Established in July 1993, the Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Tropical Rainforest Ecology and Management undertakes multidisciplinary research with an aim to support the sustainable conservation and management of Australia's tropical rainforests. Specific research areas include biodiversity assessment, collaborative cultural heritage research, biology and ecology. In 1999 it received a new seven year grant to continue its work.
