Summary
The Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Plant science was formed in July 1991. The CRC carried out research in the areas of plant genetic engineering, plant growth and development factors, plant cell biology, virus and molecular evolution, plant pathology, starch biotechnology, fibre biotechnology, grains and pastures. In 1998 the CRC ceased operations.
