Summary
The Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Oral Health Science (CRC-OHS) was established in 2003 to continue and expand the work previously carried out by the Victorian Centre for Oral Health Science. CRC-OHS aims to improve oral health through the development of new diagnostics, preventives and treatments for a range of oral diseases. Research focuses on dental caries, or tooth decay, and periodontal disease. The CRC received funding for an initial period of seven years.
