Summary
In 1999 the Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Tropical Plant Protection was established, taking the place of the CRC for Tropical Plant Pathology. The research of the CRC focuses on the prevention of pests and diseases in northern Australian flora. It received funding for an initial period of seven years.
