The CRC for Contamination Assessment and Remediation of the Environment (CRC CARE) was established in 2005 after receiving a 7 year funding grant from the Commonwealth Government's Cooperative Research Centres Program. CRC CARE's areas of research expertise include exposure assessment; environmental risk assessment; human health risk assessment; bioavailability; groundwater contamination modelling; remediation technologies; waste characterisation; re-use; prevention; environmental law; and engineering.
