Summary
The H. G. Smith Memorial Medal has been awarded annually since 1929 by the Australian Chemical Institute, and its successor the Royal Australian Chemical Institute, for the most significant contribution to a field of chemistry, based on published research in preceding 10 years. The Medal commemorates the research of Henry G. Smith, who was President of the Australian Chemical Institute from 1922 to 1923.
