Summary
Alexander Gibson, ME MInstCE MIEAust, was assistant lecturer in engineering, building and design at the University of Sydney from 1903 until 1910, when he was appointed foundation Professor of Engineering at the University of Queensland. In 1922 he moved into private practice as a consulting engineer in partnership with Sir George Julius and William Poole, to form the consulting engineering firm of Julius, Poole & Gibson, in Sydney.
