    'Prizes - In accordance with the conditions imposed by the Engineering Association of New South Wales (Foundation Society) in transferring its funds to the Institution, an amount has been set aside to establish a fund for the award of the Peter Nicol Russell Memorial Medal. This medal will be awarded annually to a member who, having attained the age of 45 years, has made a notable contribution to the science and/or practice of engineering in the Commonwealth of Australia', p.xxviii
