Summary
Suzanne Cory was Director of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research from 1996 to 2009. Apart from 3 years of postdoctoral studies at the University of Geneva, she spent all of her working life at the Hall Institute, moving gradually up the ladder and spending 8 years as Joint Head of the Molecular Biology Unit, together with her husband, Jerry Adams, before her appointment as Director.
In 2011 the newly opened Suzanne Cory High School in Werribee, Victoria, was named in her honour.
