Summary
The Lemberg Medal and Oration has been awarded by the Australian Biochemical Society and its successor the Australian Society for Biochemical and Molecular Biology since 1968 It recognises a member of at least five years' standing who has "demonstrated excellence in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and who has made significant contributions to the scientific community" (from https://www.asbmb.org.au/). The Medal is named after Rudolf Lemberg, the first President of the Australian Biochemical Society. It is presented and Oration delivered at the ComBio meeting.
