Summary

Edward Rennie was the Angas Professor of Chemistry, University of Adelaide from 1885. Early in his career he was also South Australian government analyst and inspector of explosives. Rennie is commemorated by the Rennie Memorial Medal that has been awarded by the (Royal) Australian Chemical Institute since 1931.
