Summary
The Rennie Memorial Medal has been awarded annually by the Australian Chemical Institute (and its successor the Royal Australian Chemical Institute) since 1931. This early-career award recognises research excellence in chemical science conducted by a Member of the Institute. It commemorates Ernest Rennie, a founder of the Institute and President 1926 - 1927, who was appointed Angas Professor of Chemistry at the University of Adelaide in 1885.
