Summary
The Australian Medal of Agricultural Science has been awarded by the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science, and its successor the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology, since 1948. It is awarded to recognise outstanding achievement contributions to the advancement of agriculture and natural resources management. The Medal may be awarded to people who are not members of the Institute, or to international agriculturalists who made significant contributions to August agriculture while living in Australia. More than one Medal may be awarded at the same time.
