Summary

Edward Frederick Henzell has been recognised with the Centenary Medal (2001) and Officer of the Order of Australia (1983) for contributions to Agricultural Science in Australia. Part of this contribution includes time spent as Chief of the Division of Tropical Crops and Pastures, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) from 1977 to 1987. In 1992 Henzell was awarded the Farrer Memorial Medal.
