Summary
The Natural History and Science Society of Western Australia was established as a reinvigorated version of the Western Australian Natural History Society. It continued the objects and publication program of its predecessor, and many of its leading members and office bearers had been members of the earlier society. In 1913 the Society received a Royal warrant and became the Royal Society of Western Australia.
