Summary
Dietmar Müller is a geophysicist is renowned for his work on merging conventional geological and geophysical data into global digital data sets, and coupling global tectonic models with kinematic and dynamic process models. At the University of Sydney he founded the Institute of Marine Science and established the EarthByte e-research group which pursues collaborative development of open-source palaeogeographic information system software. He is Professor of Geophysics at the University.
