Summary

Joseph Richardson worked for the Optical Munitions Panel 1941-1943 in the Department of Natural Philosophy, University of Melbourne. He later worked for the Commonwealth X-ray and Radium Laboratory (later Australian Radiation Laboratory) from 1945-1977, being Deputy Director from 1957-1973.
