Summary
The Commonwealth X-ray and Radium Laboratory was established in 1935 after taking over from the Commonwealth Radium Laboratory. In 1972 the Laboratory became known as the Commonwealth Radiation Laboratory, which was itself renamed the Australian Radiation Laboratory the following year.
