Summary
In 1981 the reorganisation of the Australian-Asian Universities' Cooperation Scheme led to the creation of the Australian Universities' International Development Program. This name change allowed the Program to accommodate non-Asian institutions. The Program existed until 1984 when it became the International Development Program of Australian Universities and Colleges Ltd.
