Summary
The Australian-Asian Universities' Cooperation Scheme was developed by the Australian Vice-Chancellors' Committee in 1969. Its purpose was to assist universities in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia to improve the standards of teaching and research in the areas if food production and population studies.
