Summary

Alan Holgate, BSc MIEAust, was Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, at Monash University from 1965 until he retired in 1996.

From 1994 until 2020 he was involved in independent research on the engineering works of Sir John Monash prior to 1914, and with others, published extensively on the subject, including a large website. His working papers have been deposited at Monash University Archives.
