Summary
Hans-Albert Bachor is a physicist known for his innovative research in the behaviour of light on the quantum scale. He initiated experimental quantum optics in Australia and pioneered measurements techniques for the improvement of optical sensors, interferometers, optical communication and data storage. From 1995 to 2011 Bachor was Professor of Physics at the Australian National University.
