Summary

At the turn of the 20th century there was a major reorganisation of the South Australian Government. This re-organisation led to the amalgamation of the Central Bureau of Agriculture (1888 - 1902), the Dairy Board and the Council for the South Australian Agricultural College forming the Department of Agriculture [II] in 1902. This department lasted until 1906 when it was renamed the Department of Agriculture and Intelligence (1906 - 1908).
