Summary
The Resource Sciences Centre (RSC) later known as the Natural Resource Sciences Chemistry Centre (NRSc) was established in 1995 and took on the functions of the Agricultural Chemistry Branch in 1996 when the Department of Primary Industries (I) was dissolved. No record of the RSC or NRSc was found in this research beyond 2011. The NRSc has belonged to a number of Queensland State Government Departments beginning with its founding department the Department of Natural Resources (1996 - 2001), and followed by the departments successors including the Department of Natural Resources and Mines (I) (2001 - 2004), the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy (I) (2004), the Department of Natural Resources and Mines (II) (2004 - 2006), the department of Natural Resources, Mines and Water (2006), the Department of Natural Resources and Water (2006 - 2009) and the Department of Environment and Resource Management (2009 - 2012).
