Summary
The Agricultural Chemistry Branch was a research and analysis arm of the Queensland State Government Department of Primary Industries (I) (1963 - 1996). It studied the nutrient, chemical and quality levels of Queensland's water, soil and vegetation. The Agricultural Chemistry Branch also worked closely with the Standards Branch and Government soil surveyors. In 1996 the Department of Primary Industries (I) (1963 - 1996) was dissolved and the Natural Resources Sciences Centre (1996 - ) took over the branches functions.
