Summary

Mark Smyth is an immunologist widely known for his significant contributions to tumour immunology and to understanding of the natural killer (NK) cell and NKT cell biology. His research focuses on immune response to cancer and metastases, and infection. Since 2013 Smyth has headed the Immunology in Cancer and Infection Laboratory at the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, Brisbane.
