Summary
Geoffrey Davey was a civil engineer who worked in several Australian states and Papua New Guinea in organisations concerned with water and sewerage, and iron and steel. He is noted for pioneering the manufacture of concrete roofing tiles. The foundation President of the Association of Consulting Engineers, Australia, he also served on the council of the Institution of Engineers, Australia. Late in life he was ordained in the Roman Catholic church.
