- Abstract
In this paper is given a description of the air-conditioning installation in the Mutual Life and Citizens Building, recently erected in Sydney. The building comprises a sub-basement, basement, ground and ten upper floors. The basement houses a large restaurant, a staff restaurant occupies a portion of the tenth floor, and the balance of the building is used for the general offices of the Mutual Life and Citizens Assurance Company or is let to tenants for office purposes. The methods adopted in carrying out the air-conditioning installation represent a departure from those hitherto employed in Australia for work of this nature.
