Summary
Robert Bray worked as a research officer in the CSIRO Division of Physics from 1956 to 1962, where he was later senior research officers (1962-1969) and principal research scientist (1969-1980). He was senior principal research scientist in the CSIRO Division of Applied Physics from 1980. Other roles undertaken by Bray include Chairman of the Australian Astronomy and Space Exploration Liaison Group 1983-1986, and Australian representative at the Large Earth-based Solar Telescope Foundation from 1984.
