Summary
Lesley Barclay is Professor of Family Health and Director of the Centre for Family Health and Midwifery at the University of Technology Sydney. Barclay was appointed to the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) in 1997 and in 2000. She works as a consultant and technical advisor to state, national and international governments and has worked in this role for the World Health Organisation and AusAID. Her research and writing covers parenting, midwifery and maternity care, family health, women in development, safe motherhood and sexuality.
