Summary
Walter Harold Taylor was a lecturer in concrete engineering, and his major text book, Concrete Technology and Practice, ran to several editions during the 1960s and 1970s.
During the Second World War, he was a Senior Engineer, Allied Works Council in northern operational areas, where his research related to bituminous road emulsions was utilised.
He also served the engineering profession, and was Chairman, Civil and Mechanical Engineering Branch, Institution of Engineers Australia.
