Summary
Nigel Borland Love and H.E. Broadsmith established a company in 1919 called Australian Aircraft and Engineering Company (AAEC), Australia's first aircraft manufacturing industry, with Love as managing director. They produced six AVRO 504 K training biplanes for the R.A.A.F. and seven for civilian customers before going into voluntary liquidation in 1923. Love then joined the flour-milling firm of Edwin Davey & Sons, becoming sales manager and going on to own his own flour-mill.
