Hugh Tyndale-Biscoe was Chief Research Scientist, CSIRO Division of Wildlife and Rangelands Research 1978-1992. His interests include marsupial biology and fertility control for wildlife management.
Details
In 1987 Tyndale-Biscoe was awarded the CSIRO Medal for Research Achievement for his world famous studies on the reproductive physiology of marsupiuals, which have led to greater understanding of the relationships between the hypothalamus, pituitary, ovary and mammary glands, as well as development of the pouch young.
