George Higgins, MCE MInstCE, was Professor of Engineering at the University of Melbourne. He was a graduate of the University of Melbourne, and later returned as a Lecturer in Surveying, Civil Engineering and Hydraulic Engineering, 1907-1910 and in Civil Engineering 1911-1921.
