Summary
Ebenezer Shaw was appointed supervising engineer for the Victorian State Rivers and Water Supply Commission when it was formed in 1906. In 1914 he was appointed a Commissioner and retained this position until he retired in 1932. He was partly responsible for enlargement of the Hume Reservoir to 2,000,000 acre feet capacity.
