Summary
Clive Nossiter started at the Perth Observatory January 1901 as a photographer and clerk - principal duty photography of all description, secondary duty was to assist in meteorological computations. He was promoted later to Astronomical Observer and Computer in February 1908 becoming Acting Government Astronomer in 1921. He led the Perth Observatory's 1922 Wallal Expedition to confirm Einstein's Theory of General Relativity, he retired 1924 and died on 24 July 1935.
