Summary
Louis-Claude de Freycinet was part of the expedition sent to complete the French cartographic survey of Australia and conduct other scientific investigations 1800-1804. He sailed aboard "Le Naturaliste". In 1817 he sailed with Duperrey to study terrestrial magnetism.
