Summary
John Brown worked for government forestry institutions in New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia. In 1882 his book The forest flora of South Australia was published. Botanical illustrator Rosa Fiveash worked with lithographer H. Barrett to illustrate this work (1882-1890).
