From their Web site, February 2002: "The Department's research programmes span basic biomedical to clinical research in the area of cardiovascular function, including hypertension and vascular biology, neurosciences, endocrinology (diabetes and bone disease), clinical pharmacology, gastroenterology, thoracic medicine, clinical genetics and oncology."
