The Joint Centre for Crop Improvement is part of the University of Melbourne's Institute of Land and Food Resources. From their Web site, February 2002: "The Joint Centre for Crop Improvement (JCCI) is a joint venture between Agriculture Victoria and The University of Melbourne. It undertakes research in crop improvement to improve the sustainability and competitive position of Australian temperate grain crops and related industries at regional, national and international levels."
